General

• 100% of the invoice total is due prior to any ladder or hardware order is being processed
  *Alternative: 10% non-refundable deposit can be provided to begin technical drawing process. This amount will be applied to the final approved order of that scope.
  
• All Sales Are Final - No Returns or Exchanges (unless otherwise stated on your order)
  
• Due to substantial variations of code requirements, each purchaser is responsible for meeting code requirements in their area. Bartels USA is not responsible for ensuring these requirements are met.
  
• Bartels USA is not responsible for any out of level wall, ceilings or floor coverings.

Ladders

• Interior Ladder rails must be properly supported. A minimum of 2x4 solid wood must be placed at the mounting height, the full length of the rail, prior to installation or use of the interior ladder system.
• By purchasing an Interior Ladder you are confirming you are using the ladder for the intended use and within the limitations of the product. Bartels USA is not responsible for damage to person or property for incorrect use or installation.
• Ladder rails are provided predrilled. Any alterations to the ladder rail voids the warranty as well as any claim of defect.
• Ladders are provided factory finished and fully assembled. Any on-site alterations after delivery will void the warranty and any claim to defect.

Sliding Door Hardware

• Sliding door hardware requires proper wall support prior to installation of hardware and use of door. A minimum of 2x4 solid wood must be placed the full length of the sliding track.
  
• Each sliding hardware system has a specified weight limit per 2 mounts/wheels. If the interior door is not being provided by Bartels, the Purchaser is responsible for confirming if the door planned to be used fits within the system's specifications.

Handle Hardware

• Handle hardware provided by Bartels is intended to be used with a European mortise only - Unless otherwise stated on your order.
  
• All European handle hardware is a special order. No Returns or Exchanges.

• Any hardware eligible for return is subject to a processing fee ($10) and restocking fee (min. 25%)
